“Bill and I wanted to launch the release of our books in a meaningful way,” says Bob Magill, co-author and CEO of Evolution Industries, the Pittsburgh based Going on a Ghost Hunt_bordercompany that produced the books. “We wrote these books to spark imagination and interest in story-building.” Bob continues, “We believe that acquiring reading skills and developing a love of reading helps children reach their fullest potential in life. We are excited to help the GPLC with their work to ensure that adults and families acquire reading, writing, math, English language, workforce skills, and computer skills so they may participate productively in their community.”

The first book, Going on a Ghost Hunt, is a children’s version of the authors and lifelong friends Bob and Bill’s adventures as ghost hunters on the hit television reality show Ghost Bait.  There is also a Spanish language version of this book available.

The three additional books, A Little Hole, .5 Leagues Under the Sea and Just a Tree are imagination/story-building books that are meant to inspire imagination, conversation and questioning as readers build the story together page by page led by the thought-provoking illustrations. After 2016, the authors plan to renew this agreement with GPLC annually.
